Carl is the third of the family's now 4th generation Fine Art business, the David David Gallery in Philadelphia which specializes in original 17th-21st century American & European paintings, watercolors, drawings & sculptures. He is an avid musician, writer, photographer and healer with a passion that is unbridled. With two traditionally published books, "Collecting & Care Of Fine Art" (Crown, NY 1981) & "Bader Field; How My Family Survived Suicide" (Nightengale Press, 2008/2009) and a third nearly finished, "Waking Dreams; The Subtle Reality" his plate is full but his written words and his musical notes persist with a relentless fervor.

David was born and raised in Philadelphia and is a third generation Fine Art Dealer in the family owned and operated Gallery business, The David David Gallery, now in its fourth generation. Founded in 1910, the gallery specializes in original 17th-20th century American & European paintings, watercolors, drawings and sculptures.

Works in the gallery range from Old Master to Modern Master with an emphasis on quality no matter the time frame. French Impressionism, American Impressionism, Hudson River, 19th century Plein Air, and American and European Modernism through Abstraction and Post war to Contemporary are all inclusive. The gallery is headquartered half a block off of Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

Now also firmly established in Palm Beach with Provident Fine Art, 125 Worth Avenue, specializing in both old and Modern American and European paintings of superb quality. Exquisite pieces by Leon Kelly, the American Surrealist, are on display there throughout the seasons as the gallery represents his works exclusively, having acquired the Estate.
